CSI offers fulfillment services to publishers via its distribution partner, National Book Network (NBN).
With 350,000 square feet of warehouse space, NBN is one of the largest fulfillment operations in America and offers efficient and reliable warehousing, shipping, invoicing and collection services to our client publishers that do not have their own fulfillment provider in the U.S.
Our client publishers have 24/7 access to sales and inventory data, backorder information, accounting statements and more via NBN’s online reporting platform.
Whether you are looking for sales representation only, or are also in need of distribution services, CSI can help you access the U.S. book trade quickly and effectively.
CSI founder Terry Scott Wybel began his career in retail bookselling in the early 1960’s when he joined Chicago-based retailer Kroch’s & Brentano’s as one of the store’s technical book buyers. He rose through the ranks to become executive vice president at a time when Kroch’s & Brentano’s was the largest bookstore in Chicago, and the largest privately owned bookstore chain in the United States.
Terry left the retail side of publishing to pursue careers with John Wiley & Sons, TAB Books/McGraw-Hill and Contemporary Books, before starting his own business as an independent sales representative. He founded the Wybel Marketing Group in 1972 to offer publishers regional sales representation in the Midwest and went on to start Continental Sales Inc. in 1997 to offer national representation.
Each member of the CSI sales team averages over twenty-five years’ experience in the publishing industry. We use this expertise in partnership with our client publishers to help assess new projects, develop publishing programs, and formulate strategic marketing plans.
